Regional opportunities for skilled migrants 

Many businesses in regional Victoria are experiencing long-term skill shortages, creating demand for suitably qualified professionals and tradespeople.

The Victorian Government hosts an online resume portal to link regional employers with the right candidates. If you have skills and experience and are interested in living and working in regional Victoria, you can request that your resume be posted on the portal if you have:

  • a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience, or
  • a highly specialised qualification.

Once your resume is uploaded you may be contacted by skilled migration coordinators or employers about employment opportunities.

To have your resume uploaded onto the portal, send it to:skilledregional@liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au in Word or PDF format. Make sure your resume includes your email address.

You should still continue to  apply for jobs independently.
