Bendigo and Region
Bendigo is a modern city with a rich heritage dating back to the gold rushes of the 1850's. Just 90 minutes north of Melbourne, Bendigo is a major regional centre for North Central Victoria and the third largest urban area in Victoria. Bendigo is a vibrant and culturally enriched centre renowned for its lifestyle and career opportunities.
Bendigo is home to a culturally diverse population of about 96,000. The City of Greater Bendigo is located in the geographic centre of Victoria and is part of the Jaara Jaara Country, the traditional land of people of the Dja Dja Wrung language.

Mildura and Region
Located on the Murray River in north west Victoria, Mildura is a cosmopolitan city centre set in an idyllic country setting. Sharing borders with New South Wales and South Australia, the region is home to many wineries, restaurants and festivals. Mildura also has some of Australia's most significant Aboriginal and historical sites.
The Mildura Rural City Council services a diverse and multicultural population of about 57,000.

The Swan Hill region is set on the Murray River in Victoria's north west. Swan Hill has magnificent scenery, a warm climate with the convenience of a large regional town.
The Swan Hill region has a population of about 40,000.
