Skilled - Regional Residence (887) Visa
This visa allows holders of the following provisional visas to apply for permanent residency:
- Skilled - Independent Regional (495) visa
- Skilled - Designated Area - Sponsored (496) visa
- Skilled - Regional Sponsored (475) visa
- Skilled - Regional Sponsored (487) visa
Applicants must:
- have lived in a Specified Regional Area for at least two years
- have worked full time in a Specified Regional Area for at least one year
- have complied with the conditions on their visa.
The Skilled - Regional (887) visa is offered by the Australian Government through the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
Migrants do not require State sponsorship to apply for this visa.
