Victoria's building and construction industry is a major driver of the state's economy. It includes:

Industry size

More than 268,000 employees-over 9.0 per cent of the Victorian workforce-were employed in the industry at the end of 2011. Over 84 per cent of workers were employed on a full-time basis.
